The reception is optional. This reception will feature delicious shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes, and more. While dining, members can sip on a complimentary wine, beer, specialty cocktail or non-alcoholic drink. The Member’s Event Reception takes place from 4:00pm- 8:00pm. Proceeds from the Reception go back to supporting the Library.
We’re Going Green- Saying Goodbye to Plastic Bags at our That BIG Book Sale & Branch Book Sales
We have joined the Charleston County Public Library system in ending the distribution of single-use plastic bags. Instead of using donated plastic bags at our sales, we will now purchase paperbags for patrons to use. However, in an effort to keep our book sale prices low, we must regrettably charge a small fee of $0.25 per bag. We encourage shoppers to bring their own bags to our sales. Tote bags will also be available for purchase.
