Looking for your next summer read and a way to support your local library? Join us for a summer book sale at Main! We’ll have tons of books and lots of space for you to shop safely. We’ve even added a special shopping hour for seniors and at-risk shoppers on Friday and Saturday morning. All proceeds support Charleston County Public Library programming including prizes and resources for the Summer Reading Program.

At the sale, you will find hundreds of bargain-priced books, DVDs, and CDs. Items include mysteries, classics, children’s books, local histories, cookbooks, and a variety of non-fiction topics.

Open to the public:
Friday, July 24, 10 am – 4 pm
Saturday, July 25, 10 am -4 pm
Senior Shopping Hours- Fri-Sat 9 am – 10 am
Member Event- Thursday, July 23, 4 pm- 6 pm

Want to attend the book sale a day early? A special event for Friends of the Library members will be held at the Main Branch, Thursday evening, July 23 from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. You’re invited to join at the door!
