It's not just about reading books—it’s about giving people the tools they need to succeed in life, whether it’s understanding a job application or being able to participate in their community through a shared interest or focus group. Learning about the literacy programs that CFOL supports have shown me how much a life can be touched by supporting education, even in small ways like book sales or fundraising events."
