Charleston FRIENDS of the Library and the Charleston County Library share a common vision for community programming and staff development. Our mission is to promote literacy, learning, and equal access to opportunities for all.
 

We fund CCPL programs that promote literacy, healthy lifestyles, access to technology, and community events for all. In addition we provide hundreds of free books underserved communities communities each year.
